House of Holland RTW SS12 @ London Fashion Week.
House of Holland is one of my favourite British labels and this collection is by far my favourite from London Fashion Week. I absolutely adore the various mixture of patterns, textures, colours and materials. I mean, who knew a reptile skin print would look great with a sheer multi colour blocked shirt? I love that nothing really matches, but still really works well together. I think my favourite pieces from this collection would have to be the sheer shirts in their lovely pastel colours. WANT. xo

So Melbourne got a taste of summer the other day- 29 degrees! It was pretty much amazing, but quickly dropped down to the temperature of inside of a fridge the next day. Ah, typical bipolar weather Melbourne! Anyway, I'm really hoping the weather will start to warm up soon because I'd love to start wearing more skirts and t shirts with bare legs and all. Melbourne, YA HEAR ME?! Also how great is my deathly hallows necklace? I just love triangles, and Harry Potter of course.

Today I ate a banana peel as a dare and got $3.50 and a milkshake. It tastes... dry. xo

SUBTLE TATTOOS

I've wanted to get a tattoo for years but obviously I haven't been able to because I haven't been old enough and stuff, but now I am approaching 18 (JUST UNDER THREE MONTHS! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD), and know that I definitely want to get one! I'm thinking of getting something on my wrist, forearm and on the ribs/back. Everyone says "get something meaningful or you'll regret it" and shit, but to be honest I can't think of anything meaningful to get tattooed. I just want small subtle tattoos that are a bit random but at the same time not too out there and extravagant. Something like Anja Konstantinova's tattoos above is what I have in mind! Was thinking of an outline of a triangle, pizza slice and a feather. Random and meaningless but I couldn't care less.. for now. Do you guys have tattoos, and are they as painful as people say they are? Opinions? xo

NEW THINGS TO READ

So what is my life like right now? SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL. I have so much folio work to do it's insane! For my Viscom folio I'm making a skirt and a top of my own design. I bought a couple fashion design books to help me along the way, and have been getting yonks and yonks of inspiration from magazines. I'm really loving these editorials from the latest issues of Vogue Australia and YEN. Bursts of colour, buttoned up collars and dip dyed hair never hurt anyone. So.. I'm a little obsessed with this store called I.D.S right now. They have the sickest on trend clothes and at a reasonably affordable price. I got this top on sale from $40 down to $21 and these shorts from $55 (I think?) down to $40. I had been looking for faux leather shorts for soooo long. The ones I had found were either shitty looking on my or too expensive so thankfully I found these! How cool are these tights? As you guys have probably noticed, I'm a big fan of tights and I got these sent to me from Romwe. They are cute and comfy and I quite enjoy wearing them! So guys, check out Romwe for some siq shit. xo

TIGHTS

I love tights. They can add that simple extra bit of "oomph" to an outfit without any effort, and keep you that bit extra warmer. I love tights, as you can see in most of my outfit posts! I especially love suspender tights. The ones from House of Holland are rad, but I'm yet to get my hands on a pair as they're a bit too expensive for me!
Anyway, the lovely kids at Ambra sent me a package of tights and leggings to show you all. They're pretty cute and comfy.

Got this at an op shop recently. It's perfect - smooth soft fabric and just the right amount of looseness. I paired it with these amazing faux leather shorts I got recently as well. They're currently the item that i wear the most in my wardrobe! I must go back for the brown pair as well.. xo
