Hey guys, I went to a 17th birthday party on the weekend.
Yeah so I don't really drink but I think this "Electric Pink" Cruiser was an exception. Though after a while, I did feel a bit sick ahaha. Back to my point, I don't really drink!
Skirt + Tee (looks like a dress) DIY | Knock off Moschino belt - Ebay, $10 | Boyfriend blazer - Dangerfield, $20 | Tiger ring, $2.50 + Skull ring, $5 + black bangle with gold studs on it, $5 + gold bangle, $1 all from Diva
I've finally gotten the hang of Twitter! FOLLOW ME!
Hoiye guys! Here are some things I have bought recently!
Alexander Wang by Linda Farrow knock off sunnies - Ebay - $7. That's what i call a bargain! What I hate about these is that is that they aren't pointy enough AND the lens is smaller than the original so it doesn't suit my face shape that well. Boo.
Grey long sleeved top with black lace - Deborah K - $12. Oh yeah, and do you see my cute zebra earrings? Teeheehee.
Bleached stone washed denim jacket - Deborah K - $15
O h m y g o s h . Let me tell you a little story about this bag. I first saw it months ago and fell in love with it not only because of the heavy stud detailing but the fact that is looks so much like the Gucci Babouska studded Boston bag from the fall winter 2008-09 collection! Well anyway, back then it was $54. Now, I know that isn't that much for you folk with an income, but for me it is- as I have no income. So when I went to Dangerfield on Saturday to find that there was a two for $10 bag sale, I was jumping with joy ahahah. I got this bag and a cream quilted one. Even better, the girl that served me under priced me so I ended up getting the two bags for $5! So this bag went from $54 to $2.50. As Usher would say, OH MY GOD.
Dickies tee from Costco! Hehehe - $15
I finally own a boyfriend blazer from Dangerfield - $20!
I found these lovelies in a local op shop. They are practically new and were in the box that said $139.95. I got them for $10! My theory is that if the straps were bigger and the bottom bit that connects the heel to the platform wasn't there, it would almost look like a clog! Hahaha they kinda look like Celine's shoes from the SS10 collection. HEY! I said kinda! Hehe.
I can't wait to wear them with some cute socks or tights!
This is what I wore to the open day of Melbourne School of Fashion yesterday. It was quite amazing being there but ummmmm I'm not paying a whopping $43,000 over the whole 3 year course! Just the thought of that makes me sweat buckets. After that, I went down to Brunswick street which now is my favourite shopping area now! So many cute vintage and discount buys! Ahhh I bought heaps of stuff, maybe I'll post it next time! I went to Costo (hahahahaha) after that. Costo is normally boring and I always lose my family as I go wondering off in random sections but this time was good because I bough the most amazing CHEEEESE ever- smoked goats cheese, mm. I also got a grey Dickies tee! Woot woot.
AWW I swear, Christian Dior's Resort 2010 2011 collection is the prettiest most sweetest collection ever! The 60's inspired collection consisted of beautiful bouffants, head scarves, capri pants, ruffles and KELIS performing? Phwoaaah I wish I was there. My favourite outfits is this one that Karlie is wearing. The crisp scalloped front, rose belt and mmmmm worthy embellished white hand bag. I also love what Maryna is wearing, totally screams out Barbie!
Here are some other pink things on my wish list! Martin Mason Margiela | Matthew Williamson | Smythe | Bottega Veneta | SONIA by Sonia Rykiel | Miu Miu | Christian Louboutin | SONIA by Sonia Rykiel

So guys, for the 1st BIRTHDAY of my blog, I want to be answering questions in the post. Could you guys ask some questions about me?
Here's some images I'm liking at the moment.

So now that the 2010 Rosemount Aussie Fashion Week is over, I'd like to report on my favourites.
//DION LEE// Once again, I am amazed. Love the pastel colour palette with the symmetric ink prints. My favourite look is probably the vest with honeycomb shaped cut outs with the mesh shirt- very geometric with beautiful intense shades of purple. The different pastels are lush which are especially beautiful with the models' sleek and simple pulled back hair. Also returned is his signature white shirt- I gotta save for one!
I really want this trench with armpit cut outs but I should probably tone my arms first... ahaha.
This draping of the many pleats is quite extraordinary. To me, reminiscent of Balenciaga's Fall '09 and Burberry Prorsum's Spring Summer '10 collections except this is ten times more amazing. Gosh, it must be heavy to wear! All worth it though hey?
//ROMANCE WAS BORN// I really really love this collection. Along with the freaky wonderlandish dinosaur theme came different coloured long nails to match each outfit rad head pieces! We're also seeing symmetrical prints in this collection as well.
I want a pair of crazy thigh high boots!
//ELLERY// Androgynous crisp silhouettes, cool tones, major flares and a David Bowie Ke$ha inspired face art was seen on Ellery's runway. I personally loved the long fish tail skirts and high collars. I also like the amazing flares but I'd look like a complete idiot if I wore massive flares like those... shame.
Totally jumping over the futuristic pyramids and fog on the runway... pretty cool!
Yeah, what I mean by "Alexander McQueen inspired" is that I'm seeing a lot of symmetrical patterns and prints on dresses just like Lee's Spring Summer 2010 collection. If you look at the third last dress I posted for Dion Lee, I'm sure you'll see some resemblance to these dresses especially with the colours. Also with the first dress I posted for Romance was born, there is a symmetric butterfly-ish print just like McQueen. I know what I'm saying is broad, but there must be someone else out there that agrees with me hehe!
I miss McQueen. x, Ivy P.S. Sorry for the long post, I couldn't help myself.
